Localisation is an essential part of any translation project. Not only should words have the same meaning, but the sentiment and messaging behind it needs to be adapted to suit the language.

The Client: International retail brand
The Challenge: To translate in-store signage into 9 different languages, while maintaining correctness and consistency.
The Solution: Prestige Network liaised extensively with the client to ensure that their needs were clearly identified. By working with native speakers of the languages needed, Prestige Network was able to develop a series of accurate terminology. Furthermore, signage reference material and signage-specific translation instructions were produced.
The Outcome: The client’s main issues were efficiently resolved and the new processes set in place by Prestige Network, as well as working directly with the printing supplier, allowed both time and cost to be saved.
The Client: WW
The Challenge: To create an inclusive environment for those with diabetes to gain long-term group support and access to healthy-living plans, workshops and dietary information. This consisted of creating a 28-page Pocket Guide to Healthy Eating and an interactive Diabetes Prevention Programme Workbook in ten different languages, including Arabic and other Indic languages. At the same time, the new rebranded WW identity had to be maintained and consistent.
The Solution: Using existing literature, drafts of the Pocket Guide to Healthy Eating and Diabetes Prevention Programme Workbook were created. Once approved by WW, Prestige Network used professional transcreators to create versions in the ten different languages.
The Outcome: Despite the tight deadline and fixed budget, Prestige Network were able to streamline the entire process using smart workflow technology. The final deliverables were both print and web-ready for immediate use.
The Client: Online game developer and publisher
The Challenge: To accurately translate legal documentation pertaining to the client’s flagship massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, which has over 75 million players worldwide, into several languages.
The Solution: Prestige Network utilised their certified translators to accurately translate the document whilst ensuring that the correct requirements were met for each language.
The Outcome: After successfully translating the document from English to Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Thai, Prestige Network was asked to further translate into Traditional Chinese, Polish, Turkish, German, Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Czech and French. All translations were completed within a short turnaround and proved to be cost-effective for the client.
